Our office is fully computerized and we have eliminated all paper chartings. This saves your time as well as ours. Our dental software DENTRIX Dental System is one of the world's leading practice management software providers. DENTRIX's mission is to improve the efficiency of the dental office; it has improved our office efficiency and capability tremendously.

As an integrated part of the DENTRIX software technology, the ScanX phosphor plate x-ray system allows us to view, diagnose and manipulate x-ray images in seconds. Gone are all the hazardous chemicals used to process conventional film. We especially love the fact that the phosphor plates reduce radiation exposure levels up to 85%. The x-ray is acquired within seconds of pushing the button. This technology also allows us to be much more enviromentally friendly because we don't have to dispose of the x-ray film or chemicals. The radiographs produced with the digital x-ray phosphor plates are highly detailed and can be rotated, magnified, adjusted and even emailed to insurance companies or to your endodontist, periodontist or oral surgeon. We can better educate you about your dental problems by showing you your x-ray chair side on a wide computer screen. Overall we are pleased to be able to deliver faster, cleaner, better quality care with the DENTRIX software and digital x-rays.

Your comfort is one of our biggest concerns

We have found that a little distraction goes a long way. We are delighted to offer Virtual Vision glasses for your relaxation. Whether you bring your own DVD or choose one from our library, you can wear the Virtual Vision glasses, which are equivalent to viewing a 52" screen; earpieces deliver stereo sound and help drown out the noise of dental treatment. This is a great way to catch up on the latest movies while making your visit to the dentist more enjoyable. Our younger patients especially love using the glasses. Amazingly we find that often a child does not even realize they are numb until we turn off their video at the end of their treatment!

We offer a reminder call service in order to make getting to your appointment on time easier. We are committed to effective communication with all of our patients. Technology through TELEVOX empowers our practice to communicate with each of our patients in a reliable and cost-effective manner. Utilizing the perfect mix of technology and the human touch, our HouseCalls service through TELEVOX enables us to contact you to remind you of your dental appointments through personalized phone messaging. Each personalized HouseCalls message includes patient-specific details related to your next office visit. Through this service you can also leave a message for our office confirming your appointment or with any questions you may have for our staff.

We are committed to continuing education

As a dental office it is imperative that we keep up with the newest technology and the latest studies. We do this by regularly attending continuing education. Our staff members are all licensed dental providers and we pride ourselves on staying current with all the new science available. Dr. Verdinelli has earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious award that she worked for many years to attain. Dr. Verdinelli attended more that 500 hours of approved continuing education courses and passed a rigorous 400 question, 6 hour examination as prerequisite to the award.
